Haters! May people would not have heard of Comic-Con if it were not for shows and movies like Lost and Twilight. Yes attendance has grown to approximately 140,000. Yes, the lines are longer. I am sure the vendors are happy that people spend money while waiting to see their favorite stars.

75. What's in a title?

The word and meaning of Twilight does not translate into every language. So the publisher tried to match the feeling of Twilight in each of the translated languages. Here's what they came up with.

Germany - Until Dawn or Bite (Just ass the phantom "s")

Denmark & Chzech Republic - Darkening

Finland - Temptation

France - Fascination

Japan - The Boy whom I Love is a Vampire, Blood Tastes Sadness, & The Vampire Family in the Darkness (Twilight was broken up into three books.)

76. How did we go from Forks to Twilight?

Stephenie Meyer (SM) talking about batting around ideas for the title of her first book with her literary agent. After compiling a list of possibilities via emails, she found that "it isn't absolutely perfect; to be honest, I don't think there is a perfect title for this book (or if there is, I've never heard it)." She says it was not the easiest to title. She states that after kicking it about for a while, it just worked.

New Moon Music Countdown

76 Days until New Moon and today's song is "White Flag" by Dido. This song is from Bellas POV and it is all about the unfaltering devotion Bella has for Edward. She will go down with the ship and won't put her hands up in surrender. There will be no flag, she's in love and always will be with Edward. She doesn't leave Forks because thats where he was and I think she hopes he will someday come back. If she leaves Forks, it may all seem surreal. Like it was a dream and never really actually happened. Bella is so broke that it rips a hole in her to remember but at the same time, she welcomes that hole because it is all she has left of Edward. She tortures herself because the torture brings Edward to her in her memories. And that is the only way they can be together. Oh Summit please release the movie TODAY!!!! We're dieing here!!! : F

When researching Twilight facts I found this list behind the character names. I wonder if Stephenie did her research or if it just happened. Here is what Twilighter.org had to say.

**Isabella a.k.a. Bella: Meaning “my God is abundance”. Isabella of France married Edward II. (WOAH!)

**Jacob: Meaning “holder of the heel” or “supplanter”. (Take what you can from that…)

**Jasper: Means “treasurer” in Persian.

**Rosalie: Means “Rose” (Obviously… How about, “beautiful rose?”)

**Alice: Composed of the elements adal “noble” and heid “kind, sort, type”. (interesting)

**Emmett: Meaning “whole” or “universal”. (Hmmm…)

**Carlise: Meaning, “Strong as Lugh”, Lugh was a Celtic god of the sun and craftsmanship. Also known as “the shing one.” (So, he’s as strong as “The shining one”? Interesting relation to vampires!)

New Moon Music Countdown

Day 77 of the Days till New Moon and todays song is....."Time Stands Still" by the All American Rejects. I have seen this song referred to as Bellas Perspective in numerous titles and I couldn't agree. This song is just BELLA EDWARD. "I can't breathe when he leaves, can you hear me when I scream?, Shes lost her will" these lyrcis explain PERFECTLY what Bella feels when Edward leaves. Hope you guys like!
Doing this countdown is like a huge tease for me...It makes me that much more hungry for the movie!!
