Here is a little background on the man behind our favorite stealth vampire.

Jackson Rathbone

1. Jackson was born December 21, 1984 in Singapore.

Sorry I haven't posted a song in awhile but it has abeen a busy week and Ive neglected our countdown. So instead of going back and catching up Im just going to move ahead with day 53 and will move forward with our countdown! Today's song is "On Call" by Kings of Leon. I went and saw them in concert earlier this week and song reminds of me of how Jacob and Edward are both so eager to be with Bella (yes Im aware that Edward left but he was working his way back to Forks. He even says that) that they are both "on call" and will come running when she calls them. Plus Im on a huge KOL kick right now, they are amazing live and suggest if you get the chance go and see them!! Anyways, enjoy the song and 53 days until NEW MOON!!!!

Vampires cannot be killed. They are already dead.

Destroying vampires can be complicated. Vampire clans throughout history have each had different characteristics. There doesn't seem to be one method that will kill all vampires. The standard method that seems to work best involves beheading the vampire, cutting its heart out, and then burning the body.

59. Twilight Vampire facts

Here is a list of how Twilight vampires are far better then "regular" vampires.

1. Vegetarian vampires: Vampires that don’t consume human blood. Instead, they hunt big game predators (bears etc.), like the Cullens.

2. Uncivilized vampires: Vampires that consume human blood and are more animalistic, wild and uncontrolled. They’re described as walking as if they’re “on the edge of shifting into a crouch” to attack.

3. Vampire eye color changes frequently in the “Twilight” series: Black means the vampire is thirsting for blood. Light gold or topaz means his/her thirst has been sated or that they have been hunting lately. Uncivilized vampires have a deep burgundy-colored eyes because they feast on human blood.

4. Superhuman speed: “Twilight” vampires can cover a few hours distance in just a few moments. Speed is effortless and exhilarating for them.

Day 62 and 61 are a combo deal today!
Day 62's song is "The Truth About Heaven" by Armour for Sleep. This is Bellas song for Edward. Just listen and you will totes understand! The part about it raining in heaven in all day long...yea thats about Forks and how miserable she is without him.

Day 61's song is "Papercut" by Linkin Park. Awesome band with hardcore jams! This song sounds a bit chaotic and I think that's the feeling that in the Cullen house the night Bella cut her finger on the silver wrapping paper. It also describes Edward being paranoid of something happening to Bella just being near his family, especially Jasper.

DAY 63! Today's song is "It is Love" by Hellogoodbye. This song is just a cute little love song that seems to fit Edward and his feelings towards Bella. The lyrics even talk about how it is love ever since their hands touched and lips were pressed together, how great it would be to get married to him, and how much the person is missed when they are gone. It's just a cute love song that I can see being in the beginning of the book. And yes the end when Edward comes back. Ok, sorry for the quick and dirty verison but life is CA-RAZY right now! Day 64! How exciting! Today's song comes from Framing Hanley -"Alone in this bed". The song is all about how alone this person is and how sleeping with only memories is harder every night, and how they wish so badly to hear the one they love's voice. They even "scream out to the stars". They are begging the one they love to never leave them alone in the bed. To me this is coming from Bella's POV. Its just a great song of longing, sadness, and missing the one that hold their heart. Anyways, enjoy!

Remember when we started the 100 Days till New Moon!? We are at day 65 and I am more anxious for New Moon with each passing minute! Today's song of the day is "Without a Trace" by Trust Company. I will admit, this is not a favorite band of mine, but I have a few of their songs and this one is a great song for Bella. The song is about being lost and falling by the wayside and just drifting away and barely holding onto anything and reaching out for anyone to save them from this place. Forks has become Bellas hell on Earth and yet its her heaven because without Forks, she never would have met Edward. Shes just so lost without a trace because he is gone. The tone of the song is soft which isn't their usual sound. It makes you almost feel that feeling when you don't care about anything, anyone even yourself or what happens. You are just lost and don't know where to go and don't care. I think thats how Bella was after Edward left and before Jake. Enjoy!

Today is another two-for-one! Day 67 was yesterday and so here is the song for Day 67! "Bad Boys" by Inner Circle. This song is dedicated to Charlie. He's the chief of police and this is also the theme song for the show "Cops". I thought we'd have a little fun on day 67.

Today is Day 66 and the song is "Blackout" by Muse. Blackout is all about how "this love isn't meant to last, and 'Im to old to dream" its all about heartache. I always hear this song when Bella is laying on the ground in the forest. She does blackout for months until Jacob comes along. Hope you enjoy!

Only 68 days until New Moon! Today's song is by a band that Mrs. Stephenie Meyer herself loves and has noted in her books. This song was also mentioned to me by my fellow sister Cheryl. The song is "Unintended" by Muse. Several reasons why I chose this song. If you haven't listened to this song PLEASE listen. It's absolutely AMAZING and the music is heavenly. Here is a sample of the lyrics "I'll be there as soon as I can but Im busy mending the broken pieces of the life I had before you." These lyrics make me think of how Bella feels about Jacob. He could be her unintended love, the one that could make her want to live her life. Anyways, this is today's song of the day! ENJOY MUSE FANS!

Day 69 of the New Moon Countdown Song of the Day is "This Kiss" by The Karmina. The lyrics talk about how wrong the two are for each, and they try to "erase what she feels" but then "you kiss me and suddenly I don't care anymore, something in me tells me you're the one Im looking for". This song is unique because I can see it coming from both Edward and Bellas POV. There is actually a section where she says "my heart is getting loud, Im trying to keep it down" and that is straight Bella! But part about "something in me tells me youre the one I've waited for" that is purely Edward. It is about not caring what people even ourselves say or think. Anyways, let me know your thoughts on this...I love the song and I hold it near and dear to my heart. Hope you enjoy!

Each day we get closer to the premier and I get more and more excited! I thought I would do something funny that we all can get a kick out of.
Today's song selection is one from Dr. Carlisle himself, the one we all love: @peterfacinelli.
He once said that he wanted them to play Beyonce's "Single Ladies" when Edward leaves Bella in the woods. I laughed so hard at this it made my ribs hurt. Now everytime I hear this song I think of that comment and start laughing all over again! So hope you guys get a kick out of it too!

I am laughing right now as I type this blog entry for day 71 in our New Moon Countdown. I was driving and this song came across my ipod and as I was singing ridiculously loud, I started to think this song would fit PERFECTLY with how Jacob feels about Bella.
Today's song is "Tearing up my heart" by NSYNC. Go ahead, laugh...I did! But seriously, lets listen to the lyrics..."its tearing up my heart when Im with you, but when we are apart I feel it to." Jake sees the pain and hurt that Bella is in because of Edward leaving when he with her, but he loves her and so his heart is tore up when they are apart because he wants to be more than friends with her. Ok, so there is today's song, and yes Im blipping it right now! So check it out!!!

Hello fellow twilighters! Day 72 is upon us!
Today's song is "Never Say Never" by The Fray. This song reminds me of Edward and Bella at the end when he is back from Italy and they are in Bella's room, talking. If you listen to the lyrics they talk about him being "her guardian" and telling her "don't let me go". She's also "the queen of everything", in Edwards eyes anyways. It's a great song that I feel fits with Edward and Bella. So there you have it, my song of the day. Thoughts? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

So I completely failed and hasn't posted my part of this blog for 3 days. So here we go!
Day 75 Song is "Fix You" by Coldplay. This song is Jacob's anthem for Bella. If you listen to it, you will fully understand!
Day 74 Song is "Unintended"by Muse. This song is about Bella and how she could love Jacob, and it would it would unintended. Plus its a gorgeous song. One of my top 5 fave Muse songs.
Day 73 Song is "Stuck in a Moment" by U2. This is about Bella, and how she is so stuck in the heartache, the pain, and she literally can't get out of it. I can almost hear Jake telling her the lyrics to this song, or Charlie. Well I believe that I am all caught up! Tomorrow is going to be a little funny for Charlie!! So, I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as we are! : F
