Hey everyone!
Ok in honor of the countdown of 100 Days until New Moon-I have decided to do a "Song of the Day". Each day I will post a song and brief description of what book it is from, what character (s), and why this song fits. So without further ado-lets jam!
Day 100 Song: (Drum roll please)-"Do You Realize?" by The Flaming Lips!
This song was featured on the New Moon play list on Stephenie Meyer's website. I love the Flaming Lips before this due to "Tangerine" and "Yoshima battles the Robots" (Great songs BTW). So when I saw this song featured I was thrilled! This song is in reference, and this is just my opinion, to Bella from Edward.
Bella always felt that it never made sense for Edward to love her. He wants her to realize that she is so much more that what she thinks. She has opened his eyes ad heart to things he never thought were possible! She has made him more human and not a monster. He has felt love for the first time in years, he risked revealing what his family really is by saving her life because he couldn't bear her to be killed. He thirsts for her blood more than he anything he has ever known, and yet he loves her enough to fight that urge every moment he is near her. HER existence, is the reason for HIS existence. He loves her to the moon and back! (OK, yeah a little cheesy but I love that saying). So, dear Bella-DO you realize!? OK, that's the music "note" for today! Tune in tomorrow for another song!
