Well today I was having some trouble picking just ONE song for day 93! I was listening to my ipod and so many songs were coming at me that I wanted to post but just now this song played and I thought "winner winner chicken dinner!" It is a pick from Stephenie Meyer again but dang it-she's awesome at picking sweet tunes! So here we go!
"Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy. I first heard this song on her website and was amazed. The vocals are beautiful, and the lyrics are magical. It describes the parting of two people who are truly in love but they are only "almost lovers" and the one is feeling more hurt than the other. My favorite line in the song "I can not wake up in the morning without you on my mind, so you re gone and I'm haunted and I bet you are just fine." *Sigh* The anguish! The heartache! Can you feel it!?! I hope you are all feeling this song, as it fits well. Watch Twitter for the blip! : F
